The nutrition facts label is standardized nutrition information for most wrapped foods in some countries of the world. The main aim of nutrition facts label makes is to make it easier for people to know what is in the food they eat, to know which foods have lower fat or fewer calories, which foods make healthy and which are prescribed for special diets. In Canada, a standardized "Nutrition Facts" label is deemed as part of regulations, been made in 2003, and became obligatory for most prepackaged food products in 2005.
