My first day with Nutrisystem…
Breakfast: blueberry muffin
Courtney: I started off with the Turbo Takeoff labeled entrees for breakfast, all the food in the box are in individual portions and you just have to follow the basic instructions and comply with the meal timing. So my firstpack was a Nutrisystem entree, a blueberry muffin which I thought was small at first but to be honest it did the job! it also tasted pretty good, the day started off just fine.
I was feeling a bit hungry I must admit, 2 hours had passed and my stomach was BEGGING me for food, I remained calm and followed the turbo pack instructions. I then moved on to having my morning snack.
Morning snack: Nutrisystems Turbo-shake
The turbo takeoff explains that you need to incorporate these milkshakes to your morning routine which I did it helped me fight the hunger. These also provide probiotics, which support the digestive system and reduce bloated belly. It was easy to make too, didn’t even use my blender, just added a bit of water and shaked a bit in my protein cup and it was ready!
I know people say that the most important meal of the day is breakfast, but I focus primarily on my lunch. I was very curious to see if the lunch pack was gonna full my expectations.
Lunch: Three cheese chicken
For lunch I had three cheese chicken, I ate all of it and it was wonderful, couldn’t believe the taste would be this good. Turbo takeoff limits you from adding in powerfuels or smartcarbs, but you can add some veggies and drink a lot of water.

Afternoon snack: Nutrisystem Peanut butter chocolate nutri curb bar
It’s that time again! I love having a meal plan that showed me exactly what and when to eat, in this case the time had reach to taste the chocolate bars they looked so good on the pictures, and it wasn’t fake publicity at all. I could say that these bars taste the way they look.
It’s close to my dinner time, and I thought I would be dying of hunger at this point but I’ve survived my first couple hours.
Dinner: Chili with beans
I had my chili with beans for dinner, I didn’t add any veggie to my meals throughout the day because I didn’t have enough time to prepare a side dish, as I work mostly all day, which is another advantage with Nutrisystem, even if I’m busy I could pause myself for a minute, go eat and get back to my job.
My final word for the day…
I could say that my day was a complete success with this diet plan, I love the idea of having healthy food combine with snacks, cause i’m a big fan of chocolate, so if I can eat what I like without having guilt problems, then it’s the perfect program for me. I was also recommended to do some exercise to help me go down faster which I’m planning on doing, also level up my water intake. All these factors will help see results faster. I was also advised to download the numi app, which track all of your meals, water, activity, and weight. It’s an important part of Turbo Takeoff week because you should start seeing results quickly. Once you do, It’s motivational, and you might not mind the initial restrictive menu. During the entire program you also get support from professional counselors to help you with any questions.
I still have more to go with Nutrisystem, that’s a fact and I plan in taking advantage of all the offers and coupons they have to offer, I mean they are not expensive moreover they have affordable plans, but any penny you can save nowadays, makes a difference!
What’s my goal starting this turbo takeoff plan?
When I was doing the research on the Nutrisystem program I saw that the Turbo Takeoff week was the most restrictive week of the entire Nutrisystem program. I have a limited menu and I also can’t consume any alcohol. It’s the first week of the month-long Turbo 13 program, during which the goals is to lose 13+ pounds which will be my initial goal, I believe that eating like this everyday will not be a problem at all for me.
